NIGHT AND DAY BIBLE STUDIES 
Westwood offers a unique in-depth method of studying Scripture we call Night and Day Bible Studies.  You have a choice of being in a study from 10-11:30 a.m. on Mondays or from 7-8:30 p.m. on Tuesdays—one class during the night and the other during the day—with two different teachers.  If you’ve chosen one of the studies and can’t come to class for some reason, you can attend the other meeting that week.  Our next study will be the Letters of John, beginning Jan. 11 and 12.  Contact the church office for more information.

Wednesday Church Family Night Schedule

5:30 Dinner - 
A delicious meal and a good fellowship.
Reservations are necessary for Church Family Night dinner. You may make "standing" or "weekly" reservations by filling in the yellow slip located in the sanctuary pews or by calling the church office at 703.451.5120 by noon on Mondays.

Cancellations of standing reservations must be made by noon Monday. Reservations not canceled must be paid.

6:45 - 7:30PM  Worship Opportunities This fall adults and youth will gather in the sanctuary for worship on Wednesdays, September 15, October 20 and December 8.  Each service will focus on a different style of worship.  They will begin with contemporary and move to contemplative.  The December service will be an advent celebration.   

6:45 - 7:30PM  Adults will find the usual offerings, but a new format. Course will be  offered from 6:45 7:30 PM, but each class will be scheduled for only four weeks.  

 6:30 - 7:30PM  Opportunities for Children and Youth

Character Builders of Preschoolers for children ages 3 - kindergarten.  Children ages 2 and under will be watched by two professional caregivers

Faith Builders for Children in grades 1-6

Reality Check for Youth - in grades 7-12.  This is a weekly study designed for those who are exploring Christianity or want to brush up on the basics. 

Media Library
This well maintained, attractive library is located next to Whitten Hall across from the coffee, tea, and hot chocolate that are offered each Sunday morning from 9:30-11:00 AM. There is a wide selection of religiously diverse books for either casual reading or intensive Bible study. Bible commentaries, reference texts, biographies, fiction, and a large selection of children's books and wholesome videos as well as audio, books on tape, DVDs and VHS tapes for all ages are available.
