Men on Mission (M2) is open to the men of Westwood Baptist Church (members and friends) who are interested in exploring the Role of the Christian Man in today's culture.
M2 activities focus on three areas: Spiritual Life Enrichment; Ministries; and Fellowship.

- Spiritual Life Enrichment consists of Bible study, prayer, and sharing each other's trials and triumphs. The purpose is to develop understanding of how spiritual growth can help men with the important moral, ethical and family issues of today.
Currently we are using the study book Character Under Construction as the focus in this area. Each lesson has a focal scripture and questions to help guide our discussion. These lessons are linked to the overall theme of the book, but also function as stand-alone points of emphasis. Recognizing that we all have busy schedules, this format is very forgiving if you cannot attend every meeting.
- Ministries means putting into practice the example Christ set as servant to those in need. Activities include participating in Westwood's Adopt-a-Highway program, working with Habitat for Humanity, helping with repairs and building projects at various locations associated with Westwood mission activities, and providing a "Honey" for those who do not have one to accomplish their "honey-do" lists. M2 is also involved with the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center, providing mentor support for inmates through the Good News Jail and Prison Ministry. We are exploring the possibilities of a mentoring program for individuals/families within Fairfax County as they move from welfare to self-support, and putting in place a short-term carpentry support service for Westwood and the surrounding community.
- Fellowship promotes Christian friendship and mutual support for the men of the church. Activities include regular meetings on second and fourth Saturdays, periodic breakfast meetings with guest speakers, and ministry events.
